Diablo Racing Technology wheels are machined from forged aerospace quality aluminum. The wheels are then designed using CAD/CAE software to ensure the forging process as well as the production wheels meet the strict demand criteria for lateral impact, torsion testing, rotary strength, and radial strength. The wheels then undergo heat treatment, artificial aging, and a 120 hour salt spray test.

Independent Lab testing has been performed on the wheels for the following:

• Material composition
• Environmental durability (stone resistance, oil/water resistance, thermal shock, salt spray)
• Mechanical strength
• Alloy fatigue strength (dynamic cornering fatigue, dynamic radial fatigue, torsional strength, lateral impact strength)
• Diablo Racing wheels tested to be DOT & JWL compliant
